Many of us have causes we are passionate about. Reforming education. Protecting victims of domestic violence. Supporting the arts. Housing the homeless. Feeding the hungry.
All are worthy of our energy and consideration. Working on these issues makes our society richer, kinder, more efficient and just. Addressing them makes life more meaningful. And in some ways, these issues define who we are as a country and as a civilization.
